Physical Needs
Meals for Hope
Freezer meal program to bless bio, kinship, and foster families with a meal. Meal can be picked up from our freezers located at CASA, DFCS, and The Chapel Midtown.
Technology that allows the community to respond to material needs of at risk families identified by DFCS. When portal requests are met, it prevents removals and disruptions in placements.
Vouchers
Local children’s consignment store vouchers offered to foster families in need of items to support their placement.
Innovative and strength based displays of children waiting for their forever home that are utilized for awareness and recruitment purposes
Relational Needs
Family Fuse Events
Semi-annual fun events that create space for foster families to connect with the volunteers and agency professional serving them to create unity.
Pre-existing group of individuals committing to serve a local foster or kinship family by volunteering their time through one of our church partners.
A time out monthly to give local foster and kinship families a well deserved break.
Therapeutic Needs
A week long overnight, trauma informed summer camp specifically for children in foster care ages 6-12.
An annual celebration hosting the amazingly resilient children in our region who are eligible for adoption and their hope for the future.
Backed by science and a devoted staff, Chosen provides highly effective trauma-informed caregiver training
Systemic Needs
Our clinical staff is available to train local schools, businesses, caregivers, and others regarding the distinct needs and appropriate response to children in hard places.
